Each OxyPink must pass each of these checks. This is why buying OxyPink does not just mean buying a probe but buying a quality guarantee.

We place the utmost attention in controlling our analysers. Through specialized operators who have passed rigorous training courses and using the most modern test technologies, we are the only ones who can guarantee every probe for 18 months.

Below you will find a list of the checks performed on each OxyPink before being approved.

 

24 CONTROLS MECHANICAL PARTS

  • Visual probe tube test
  • Visual inspection tube
  • Visual examination fusion of the head
  • Visual examination of metal parts
  • Visual examination of terminal board and silk-screened terminal block holder
  • Verification of alumine length
  • Check the internal diameter of the aluminas
  • Check the external diameter of the aluminas
  • Check the thickness of the aluminas
  • Check for cracks on aluminas
  • Dimensional verification of nipples
  • Dimensional verification of fittings
  • Verification of coupling of nipples and fittings
  • Dimensional verification of the flange
  • Flange coupling verification
  • Check Heather size
  • Check the threads with buffer gauges and ring nuts
  • Head closure closing verification
  • Check head cap gasket
  • Check for reference pneumatic air connections and calibration
  • Teflon coating inspection
  • Head filter inspection
  • Cleaning of metal parts in trichloroethylene
  • Cleaning of aluminas from processing powders

6 MECHANICAL AND FUNCTIONAL TESTS

  • Immersion test at 2 bar: impervious external tube
  • Rolling test on inclined plane: homogeneous diameter along the whole tube
  • Platinum brush checking: verification of homogeneous plating by means of a cold light LED lamp
  • Twist trial: cement resistance probe tube support
  • Vibration plate: shock and vibration resistance of the internal sensor
  • Optical screening performed under a microscope on points

18 ELECTRICAL / ELECTRONIC TESTS

  • Temperature set point test: check of temperature control relay operation
  • Check insulation between analogue outputs
  • Check insulation between analogue outputs and power supply
  • Serial output communication test
  • Test between terminals 1 and 2 on the head terminal board (sensor integrity). Reference value > 1Mohm
  • Test between terminals 3 and 4 on the head terminal board (thermocouple integrity). Reference value < 50 ohms
  • Test between terminals 5 and 6 on the head terminal board (Heater control). Reference value < 10 ohms
  • Insulation test between terminals 1 and 2 towards 3 and 4
  • Insulation test between terminals 1 and 2 towards 5 and 6
  • Insulation test between terminals 3 and 4 towards 5 and 6
  • Insulation test between each individual terminal and the fusion of the head
  • Reading between terminals 1 and 2 (sensor) with circulating air. Reference value ± 2 mV
  • Reading between terminals 3 and 4 (thermocouple) with circulating air and comparison with TC table
  • Check electrical connections on control electronics
  • On / Off cycle: 3 cycles of switching on and off
  • Check the minimum or maximum alarm relay operation
  • Contact operation check / key for automatic calibration
  • Check electronic firmware update check

5 PERFORMANCE TEST

  • Warm up time: chronometric control of the set point reaching time starting from room temperature
  • Thermocouple test: oven thermocouple test with reference sample
  • Temperature stability test: verification of accuracy and stability measured when temperature changes
  • Flow rate stability test: verification of accuracy and stability measured when the internal flow rate changes
  • Verification of Oxygen reading with certified cylinder

4 SAFETY CHECKS

  • Feedback on the grounding of the masses
  • Dimensional control and numerical turns of absorption of thermal expansion
  • Cables marker: marking and cable header
  • Suction fumes: procedure for removing fumes from the first combustion in an oven with negative pressure.

5 PRE-SHIPPING DOCUMENTAL CONTROLS

  • Check for manual presence and maintenance
  • Presence check CE Declaration of Conformity
  • Presence verification Calibration Report &amp; Test Report (Pink Quality Program)
  • Verification of the Warranty Certificate
  • Verification of the labelling presence with data of the probe serial number
